Larry D. Ross, 64, of Malvern passed away on November 21, 2014. Larry was born on April 22, 1950 to Mabel and Alton Ross. Larry was the youngest of seven children and was loved dearly by his older siblings. Larry was a cattleman his entire life. He was well respected for his extensive knowledge of quality cattle. He loved his cows. Larry also loved his family and he will be missed by them all. Larry was of the Missionary Baptist faith.
Larry is preceded in death by his parents; his wife of 18 years, Betty Ross; and two brothers, James and Buddy Ross.
Larry is survived by his daughter, Leanne (David) Ross Howard of Little Rock, AR; Leanne’s’ mother, Linda Kirkpatrick of Clinton, AR; two sisters, Mary (Wayne) Nugent and Linda (Clint) Lunsford, both of Malvern; two brothers, Robert (Peggy) Ross of Malvern, AR and Charles (Charlene) Ross of Magnet Cove, AR; sister-in-law, Reggie Ross of Magnet Cove, AR; three grandchildren, Justin Ross, Kalee Howard, and Jacey Howard; and many nieces, nephews, and extended family members that he loved dearly.
A graveside service will be held at Price Cemetery on Wednesday November 26, 2014 at 1:00 with Bro. Darryle Sulton officiating. During the service, honor will not only be paid to Larry’s life, but also to the memory of his wife, Betty Ross. A visitation will be held prior to the service, beginning at 11:30 at Atkinson Funeral Home.
